For about two years, supporters and opponents of VOC have only been hearing from him but have not really been seeing him. VOC's supporters have urged him several times to make videos to some of his tracks because they believe he is the best Cameroonian rapper they have listened to, and they do not want him to remain "underground." VOC was very reluctant about making music videos, but has finally decided to come out of his shell. "VOC dong start for show face!" He has made a music video to Without You (Prayer) which is track number two on his first album titled "FIRST BORN." The video is on his YouTube channel and you can watch it by clicking-->here . Many of you have probably listened to the ridiculously awesome letter VOC penned to Atanga Nji Paul when the Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon started in 2016. Many have listened to the track over and over without even knowing the real artist who made the track. In fact, some people who follow VOC on social media do not even know that VOC is the one who made the track titled "Letter To Atanga Nji Paul." 

VOC released the track a few days before 2017. We are now in 2018 and some Cameroonian rap music fans still send VOC messages on social media informing him that they just learnt he (VOC) made the track. Those messages make VOC happier because he believes that when people listen to music over and over without even knowing the artist who made the music, it just tells how powerful or magical the music is.

VOC released his album "FIRST BORN" on 12/31/17 at 11:59 PM but the album didn't go on sale immediately because VOC was still thinking if he should give it to the fans for free or sell it to the fans. FIRST BORN consists of eighteen tracks but because VOC was still undecided, he granted fans access to ten tracks only. Fans could stream ten tracks for free and download three of those ten tracks for free. 

Well, VOC has some great news for those fans who hunger and thirst for everything on his album FIRST BORN. After a lot of thinking, VOC has decided to give the fans his first album for free. VOC understands that the unrest in the Anglophone regions of Cameroon has kept a lot of fans' pockets empty and he doesn't want to put them in more pain by making them pay for his album.

VOC would also like his fans in the diaspora to get the album for free. Instead of spending money to buy his album, VOC would like his fans in the diaspora to send the money home to their families and relatives because VOC believes they need the money now, due to the ongoing revolution back home.

VOC is no where near a gospel rapper but he does believe that prayer changes things. VOC believes it is important to ask for the things you want by saying a prayer and working hard or smart to achieve to those things. Saying a short prayer or a long prayer at least once a day is a good habit.  "Without You (Prayer)" is track number three on VOC's first album titled "FIRST BORN." It's a prayer. In December of 2016, VOC on his Facebook page promised Cameroonian rap music fans that he was going to give them a classic album in 2017. That got some of the fans excited because they had been paying close attention to VOC's music and they believed he was the man to fix up Cameroonian rap music. They believed VOC was the man who was going to make Cameroonian rap music meaningful and important, especially after they listened to his track titled "Letter To Atanga Nji Paul." VOC had already put out a couple of hot tracks but he snatched the streets, people's hearts and people's ears when he put out "Letter To Atanga Nji Paul." Throughout 2017, Cameroonian rap music fans have constantly contacted VOC to know when he was going to release his album. Some of them even got a little frustrated because they were tired of waiting for VOC to release his album.

Well, the wait is over! VOC's album; FIRST BORN is here! There are eighteen tracks on the album. The good news is; all the tracks are great and VOC will permit fans to stream ten of the tracks for free and download three of the tracks for free here. The tracks that are going to be available for free download are titled "Why?", "I Do So Swear" and "Letter To Atanga Nji Paul." The bad news is; the three tracks that fans are going to be able to download for free sound great but they sound better on the album itself. That means fans will have to buy the album to get the best quality. The ugly news is; VOC's album FIRST BORN and tracks will only be available for sale three weeks from its release date. This is because of some business arrangements being made and VOC is very sorry that this is happening. He has no control over this delay.
